Sanaz Tamjidi (Sunny) received a BA in Psychology from UCLA and an MFA in Creative Writing with a focus in screenwriting from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Transitioning to a career in storytelling, Sanaz feels inspired to incorporate her knowledge of psychology and mental health into crafting stories that focus on pivotal human truths within exciting and provocative plots. She is the writer and producer of her first short film, Colorhouse, which will make its World Premiere at the Wyoming International Film Festival. Colorhouse is also an official selection of the 29th LA Shorts International Film Festival.

Sanaz followed a long-held dream and opened Sunny's Bookshop in January 2024, an independent bookstore in Tarzana, California. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of Sunny's Journal, an online literary magazine that elevates the talents and voices of writers, artists, and readers. She lives in Los Angeles, where she hosts monthly events at the bookshop.
